Education Technology Advisor

Eileen is a former English Teacher, School Principal and was also a Co-Owner and Director of the Pre University Centre (PUC), a private tuition college. In 2000, PUC developed and launched the first two e-learning websites in Ireland (LeavingCert.net and JuniorCert.net) and later sold these on to the Intel skoool.ie consortium. Eileen continued to work with Intel and skoool for 14 years as a Digital Education strategist and consultant. The role included international training events and consultancy for a wide range of professionals including school teachers, IT Consultants, government ministers, chief executives, marketing professionals in Ireland, the UK, mainland Europe, Asia and the Middle East; recruiting and managing an international team of Instructional designers and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and liaising with the education community and other stakeholders.

In 2010, Eileen set up and developed 24-7tutorials.com, an educational website providing one-to-one online help in real time for second and third level students.

In recent years Eileen has worked with various Ed Tech and training companies including Irish Times training, EdTech Ventures and Alison Online Learning.
